New to High-speed Cable Internet coming from High-speed DSL.

I'm a new cable internet user coming from DSL. Is there any software out there that tweaks out your High-Speed internet connection?
I use to use DSL Speed v3.3 But, ince switching from DSL to Cable I'm not sure what's out there for tweaking my high-speed connection. :)

Most of those little 'internet tweaking' tools don't really do anything. They were only useful way back in the dialup days. Not anymore though.

But you aren't going to gain much out of it, unless for whatever reason you've messed with your network settings to be something sub-optimal.

We have Verizon DSL at work and its a pain in the ass. Atlantic Broadband cable is awesome though :)

I would consider using cable, except that the only company that provides it locally is Cox Cable. I have had a bad experience with them a few years ago, so I would never give them a dime.
