nVidia have just released these Quadro Certified drivers.

These on support and are WHQL for :
NVIDIA_NV40.DEV_004E.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 4000"
NVIDIA_NV41.DEV_00CD.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 3450/4000 SDI"
NVIDIA_G70.DEV_009D.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500"

I've made modded INFs for both 32 and 64bit versions.
But my server is letting me down and can't upload them.

Drivers can be found here : ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/Quadro_Certified/83.62/

Are these the most recently dated drivers? Besides the ones that others have that haven't been leaked yet.

2 INFs attached, replace the original INF with the appropriate 32 or 64bit INF.

Enjoy

Use the modded inf above your post and replace original inf before installing. This only works of course if the originals are zipped. Hmmm.... Mobile?

If anyone tests in BF2, let me know how they work out.
Been speculating in moving from 82.12 if there is any driver worth the effort..

any one tried these?

I still cant use any 8x.xx drivers, cause nvidia still didn't fix the bug with the ATi chipsets. When I install any 8x.xx driver I get 4-bit color, 640x480 display.
Still stuck with 78.05.

That Motherboard broke a week ago. I am now using my brother's Ati RS350 chipset Motherboard, but it is full of problems too.

no offense, but are these correct? this is second time when i installed drivers using your modified inf file, and i ended up with 800x600 and 4bit color, first the 83.60, now the 83.62

83.40 works fine, with original inf

i can help with troubleshooting.

I'll give these a go

At the moment I'm using 83.40, but I'm getting random lock-ups while Alt-Tabbing from WoW to Windows and back again. Hopefully this is resolved in this set.

[Update]
Looks good so far, not had a problem with Alt-Tab and Performance seems up.

I used the modded inf and installed them with my dell 3007 and at first only got 4bit color. Then I deleted the monitor profile in the registry and reinstalled the 3007 drivers and then rebooted again. Then as soon as I came back to log into windows I had 2560x1600. One question. Is this driver supossed to have the new control panel? If so it didn't install here.

cool i removed the monitor from device manager and it works now

and no these drivers don't come with new control panel

This driver only has the original Control Panel.

As for 4bit colour this is the Monitor/Videocard EDID problem.
There is a fix for this as XGMan has been shown.
This is nothing to do with the modded driver.

These drivers any good ? no one has said anything yet.

They are very stable drivers, XP64 version at least.

Lost a few FPS in everything and synthetic benchmarks are down slightly, image quality looks very good.

I've found most Quadro drivers to be like this, very stable with a negligible loss in FPS.

I will try removing the monitor in device manager, but I dont know if it willl help.

What should I be searching for in the Registry? I know where nvidia's values is, but I don't know what to modify.

Edit: Dont worry, I will wait till nvidia fixes this issue (wich may take a while).
The Driver doesn't even install, I can't acces the Contol Panel and DXDIAG says there is no 3D Acceleration

these drivers feel very sluggish in FEAR

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\D ISPLAY\DEL4016

delete it after each driver install, then immediately reinstall the dell driver pack, and on reboot it will work fine with 3007 at 2560x1600. ;)

Thanks anyway xgman, but I dont think the monitor is the problem anymore, I went in DXDIAG and saw there was no 3d Acceleration Enabled. One of nvidia's many problems. (pirate)
