Pretty sure these have been posted before, but its alright. They're probably the most realistic specs we've seen so far.
I just reaaally hope they get the pricing right. If that GTX is over $500, they are screwed.

i dont have a desktop, but i was hoping for more as well
I was planning on getting SLi 7800GT's but also considering getting a 7900GTX if the price is right. Just within the $500 range would be nice.

Well, I'm thinking of two 7900GTs. I bet they'll perform a lot like an oc'd 256MB GTX- except that they'd OC even better. Just hope they cost about as much as a 7800GT.

Hmmmm.... After reading that X-Bit Labs article, I wouldn't be surprised if they have 2-GPU cards available at launch. $699? $649? More? Any guesses?

Let's see for 399US, bascially half the price of the 7800 GTX 512 now you can get the same performance. Which is a HUGE drop from what it was at before, even if yor comparing "MSRP" your looking at 649US to 399US which is a 250US drop which is 38% cheaper.
Your also getting better performance at the 499US price point which is cheaper and faster then what you would be able to get today.
At the 299US price point you can get basically 7800 GTX performance for a very nice price, with the potential to fall to 250US, considerng this 7800 GTX level performance for "only" 250US, much more affordable for most.

Well now, I was planning to skip the 7900s and wait for the G80 but if the 7900GTX 512 is only $499, that might be too tempting to pass up.

Better sell them quick, you got two weeks till the 7900's show up. Then the value of the 7800 drops like a rock.

eBay my friend! :D
People who "shop" on there usually are way behind on product releases, and they usually spend more on used things than they would on brand new ones from a store.

From the email Mike posted on the main page the 7800GTX512 is dead now.
So the 7900 is the only way to go for a 512meg card.

I don't read chinesse but it appears they list 7900GTX 650/1600 and 7900GT 450/1300.
One interesting thing is there is and add for Galaxy which appears to show a 3Dmark06, but I don't read chinesse so I'm not sure what it says.
Also there are some more 7900GT pics here, http://publish.it168.com/2006/0221/20060221256501.shtml
It looks like the 7900GT is sporting 1.4ns RAM as previously noted.
