Woo hoo

After decades of tree hugging hippies holding back space exploration we finally get a victory for common sense.

it's always the far left that has that chokehold on American politics and business practices...
geez...wake up.

as far as i'm concerned ALL the fission reactors can head off into space...don't keep them here poisoning our wells in the name of cheap energy.
NASA's biggest deterrent in space has always been themselves. Bad budgeting, Bad management - no diff from any other single contract corporation with the government.
The privatization of space travel will help move things along much quicker, IMHO.

Anyone ever dig into the radiation released into the atmosphere and plain ole air cause by drilling for oil? Might find that the radiation released by nuclear power plants is less then coal/oil. Last I heard in a thermodynamics class, for every one million pounds of coal burned, one pound of radioactive material is released into the oil. Think about it. To get to the coal/oil, you are bound to go through some radioactive material. Fission bad? For now maybe. But, we've been burning coal and drilling for oil for much longer. Go figure.

Yeah then they could use good management and good budgeting to get to mars in two months!!!........???

And after that, terrorists could fly planes (ships) into buildings from space, scary thought.
