Is that SLI or single card?
Looks like SLI
Nor bad with a XP3000 and 512 megs of memory.....

I think a dualcore processor is worth an extra 1000 points alone. I am not sure if it's sli or not. If it is sli scores are a bit low but its speculation.

The 3dmark06 score looks to low imo to be SLI...

ya, i was thinking the same thing...if thats sli then the 7900gt is in a heaping of trouble.

Well, the 03 score looks SLI, the other 2 are certainly single card scores since it's supposed to best a 7800GTX. If all of those are genuine SLI scores without a bug of sorts to hinder performance in 05 and 06, I don't see how the 7900GT will replace the 7800GTX, it will be too slow.

if the system was SLI, the dude got just as much video ram as system ram, that's messed up.

The GT best overclock like a mofo because at the moment it seems no cheaper and no faster than the current 7800GT.

Lets hope the scores get better .....

I dont think the 06 score is SLI.

The multi gpu box is selected on each shot (photoshop?!)
But the rest of the system doesn't allow better performance.

Theory is that the drivers only allowed 03 to work in SLi mode.

Even so the scores are similar to Sli for 03 and single for 05 and 06 for older 7800GT scores on the ORB.

ie not too impressive

No way the '05 and '06 scores can be SLI. Two 7800GTs in SLI will get between 10-11k on 3DMark 05, so SLI'd 7900GTs aren't going to be in the 8,500 range. Same again with '06...

Yes but also with a 3000+?

Not only that, he is actually running 2x256's. A disgrace to the dual 7900GT's :D

Ok, completely OT.
That suposed SLI setup, is that SLI x 2 cards, or SLI double GPU (2 x GPUS on one card?)
Bearing in mind that the info we have is only AMD64 3000+ and 512 megs of ram

I dont know about those scores... I wouldnt take these too seriously just yet. Especially if the thing is scoring lower than a 7800GTX.

I want to call BS on these shots, but I think we need to see a source first. Where did they come from?

Why can't I see the scores?:(

What would the X1900XT get on a similar set-up on 06?

Probably a bit higher score. If these results are accurate, then either the 7900 series will be a flop, or you will need ATLEAST a gig of fast ram to have the run right.

I'm kinda' leaning towards the opinion that these results are fubar.

Thanks for the pics Burpy.

Yea these results don't look impressive at all. Surprised they used such a low end system to run these on. I'll wait for more official reviews before I pass judgement.
