It seems like the NV Silencer 5 Rev2 (or Rev3) would not fit on the 7900GT

What about the Thermalright V-1 ?

Or the Zalman VF700, the base seems to be very small so there should be plenty of room to fit the ramsinks.

I know its a 9800, but just showing that the base isnīt very big at all. Might be worth to email Zalman maybe?

Here is the Thermalright V1

I'm going to try my Zalman VF-700 on it, but I don't have any thermal tape left, so I need to figure out what to do with the ramsinks.

You can either leave them naked for the time being, or use standard double-sided tape. Itīs not perfect, but I found it to be a decent temporarly solution if you have that stuff at home.

Ahh, great idea, agentkay! My wife runs a personalized products business out of the house, so we have miles of two-sided tape here, mostly for award plaques and other corporate doodads.
