I have no idea where to post this, but I have a really annoying problem.
I can't get this setup to work in 1280x1024 in 75hertz mode ><
It only gives me 60hertz, and you know what that means.... :(

MSI GTX512
Samsung SM930B
AMD 4200x2
MSIK8N diamond

Tried it with several forceware, didn't help.

first off, are you sure your monitor supports it? usually the only reason why it wouldnt display that as an option is that the monitor doesnt support it.

another reason why it wouldnt show up is because the drivers for the monitor arent installed (it would say Plug and Play Monitor if drivers are not installed) try installing the drivers for your monitor, that should open up all the refresh rate options.

here is a link to the driver for that monitor:
930B Driver (http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=SS&CttFileID=252911&CDCttType=DR&ModelType=N&ModelName=930B&VPath=DR/200502/20050225110919421_SM930B.exe)
this driver is for Win 98/ME/2k/XP

another option would be to enable coolbits2 via the registry key, then go in and manually set the refresh rate. this is dangerous, and you should only do this if you really know what youre doing.

enjoy :)

Thanks, I'll try that.

Well, specs say the monitor supports it, and I did installed the driver that came with the cd (it says the name of the monitor and not p&p monitor).

Again, thanks for teh reply.
