I mean the fps difference is hardly 1-4 in most benchmarks. Is this correct? If I have the BFG 7800GTX OC, moving to a 7900GT would yield anything or not?

Input is welcome.

If you have a 7800GTX OC then they would be no point in getting a 7900GT.

You are correct. The upgrade really wouldnt be worth it.

The only thing the 7900 series has going for itself over the 7800 is the 7900GT overclocks like MAD ;)

Or you can even buy one that is overclocked like mad, the highest oc'ed one runs at 560/1650mhz. I dont think a regular 7800gtx will go that high.

Some of them should do 600mhz with aftermarket air coolers as well. ;) Canīt wait to know at what clocks the stock voltage wall appears.

And super overclocking potential too.
