I hope it has a decent looking cooler. I am not keen on xfx. They have 5 7900gtx's which I think is too excessive.

About XFX cards, well, i got XFX 7900GTX XT 690/1750, & i cannot raise core/mem any MHz above the specs. Perhaps they're factory locked. Anyway, i'm very pleased with these speeds :)

I can only muster a mere 10mhz on the core and 50mhz on the memory with my xfx 7900gt, its already clocked at 550/1630... thats good enough for me :D

They're not locked, you can raise them idk why you think you cant

Well if you want more you can always try that volt mod on vr zone. The small problem is that it may kill your card. :D

The test fails if i raise just 1 MHz in the core or mem.

The funny is that the card is pretty cool (40ºC Idle & around 50ºC when serious gaming).

use Rivatuner instead of coolbits, manually set your clock then retest.

Yeah the Gainward looks really tempting... Though me thinks I'll hang on for a G80 + Conroe combination later this year before I upgrade again.

Besides my (256MB) XFX 7800 Extreme XXX Edition is totally stable @ 515MHz / 1350MHz :)

You call that a small problem? :)

Rivatuner Version 2.0 Release Candidate 15.8 (atm) doesn't work with my card.

Is Gainward keeping the delta the same @ 50 mhz or are they screwing everyone like XFX?
