View Full Version : E3 2006
So who's going? I got my confirmation last week so all looks good.
My friend nrdstrm is another story though, he should be fine but we will see... they seem to be cracking down on the people who fake their way into E3. nrdstrm is not, but its quite a bit more difficult to get in this year.
Maybe this means shorter lines? I hope so (pirate)
this whole east coast thing is killin my good time. :(
Thats what planes are for! ;)

I sure wish this was in the middle of the country to make it more accessible. E3 06 I think will be the biggest and best yet but there will be no more booth babes like the past. Also I know your a PC guy jAkUp but please give consoles more coverage this time around.:)

jakup, do you go as nvnews staff?
Get more video footage instead of just a pile of digicam screenies....

nice suggestion :) ...we need real-time gameplay footage & info on the rig used on a particular game.
Whatever it is, I'm not going...but what is it?

Yes. Thats always the best info to have! No amount of screenies means as much as a video and knowing the specs it was running on.

they werent going to allow them to be dressed as scantily....but we will see how it goes
Ok, this year I will be sure to ask what specs the demos are running on.
As for the babes, nobody knows yet for sure... rumor is that they toned it down. It seems as if they are changing alot of things...
Here are the companies that will be at E3!

Heh, I think thats actually good news. There are millions of places people can go to look at half naked women, I find it kind of irritating that 90% of E3 coverage is all about the booth babes. Maybe if they tone it down a little itl actually be about the games again.
I dont mind the women (heh, not at all) but it is the "electronic entertainment" expo, not the "blue haired anime girls in latex" expo :p

there are those of us who can multitask (i.e think with both the big brain and little brain at the same time) should not be penalized for being more advanced than regular folk...i want my booth babes!!!(pirate)

Perhaps you hadn't noticed, but I have only been around this forum recently since Christmas, and I spend most of my time, either in the Politics and Religion Forum, or to post to ask questions in some of the other forums. But I am not obcessed with gaming or even hardware in general, except whatever I need at the time. In fact, this is the only forum of it's kind that I frequent. Therefore, I imagine that there are quite alot of "routine" bits of knowledge that I'm ignorant of. I find that others are quite ignorant about other things, but I do not go out of my way to point that out.

Well, he is a bit of a punk (as gib said :D), but E3 is by far the biggest and most well known gaming-related event in the country (in not the world), so that was a pretty funny question for a forum like this.
No need to get offended. Itd be like if someone went onto a religious forum you frequent and asked "Who is Jesus?"... :p:D
