I just watched one of the most ridiculous cricket matches EVER :D

Australia v/s South Africa. Lots of tension, lots of back-story. The aussies talking trash bout the proteas and what a way to shut them up.

Kudos to Gibbs for putting together his own Kapil Dev like innings :thumbsup:

Last man, 1 ball to spare, great drama :D

Almost 900 total runs in 1 days play. Simply brilliant.

THAT WAS THE MOST AWESOME GAME I'VE EVER SEEN.

I WERE FROTHING AT THE MOUTH THE LAST COUPLE OF BALLS.

I were highly critical of our side after the Aussies' innings and didn't give them a snowballs chance in hell.

The pitch was actually heaven to bat on it turned out to be. I will sing our side's praises for a very long time to come.

I am sure we'll never see a cricketing display of this sorts ever again.

The thing is, the previous record for highest score was between Sri Lanka and Kenya. Sri Lanka posted 398. But Kenya is anyway a mickey mouse team and Sri Lanka at that stage were quite high on the log.

Today, Australia scored 434 and then .. in the same game .. SA bettered that. And that between Australia, the best in the world, and SA after this probably second.

I think its one of those freak matches you just get. It was great entertainment though :D

No purchase for the bowlers. Was a flat pitch a la multan and the other pitches in Pakistan during the recent indo/pak series.

Still, that score was a monster and these guys played their hearts out.
