View Full Version : Best PSU with EPS12v??

Hi Guys,

Im looking for a new PSU with EPS12v so that I can run Conroe chips should I want to.

The best I have found is the thermaltake 680w Purepower with 52a on dual 12v rails + EPS 12v and both ATX and BTX compliance.

The OCZ's only go upto 520w and look quiet gay so thats not an option.

Your thoughts chaps pls.

as always, PC Power and Cooling is the cream of the crop.

ive seen a lot of ppl run OCZ's and they seem to be quite happy with them.
i needed a 8 pin 12V rail, but i didnt want to dish out the cash, so i just got an adapter....

They have a OCZ PowerStream 600watt and they may look gay but they get the job done.

I just hooked up that Seasonic 600w PSU... Wow the noise difference over my last cheap a55 PSU is unreal.

Put simply its WAY quieter! I'm very happy with it. :)

I have the S12 500w, it IS very quiet, unless everything in your system is passive, there's no way you can hear it.
