He was probably referring to the black cubic box on the floor (which I would assume is an amp), or the speakers on the stands (which I would assume are just mid-range woofers).

I am in the process of putting together a home theater. I am using the Klipsch Reference Series 7 speakers.

Klipsch RF-7 for mains.
Klipsch RC-7 for center.
Klipsch RS-7 for surrounds.
Dual SVS 20-39 CS-Plus w/Samson S1000 subwoofers.

I'll post pictures shortly.

Crap, the pictures are too big (file size wise) to post. :(

Can't compete with the previous pictures, but I do have a theatre of my own. It's been assembled with used parts over the years, since I'm not loaded. It works decently enough and has for roughly 5 years. No money to upgrade however. Excuse the mess and the dust. :)

TV: RCA 1982 model. 45inches, rear projection, some distortion on the lower 4 inches of the screen.
Speakers:
Front: 4 15" Fishers, with 3" and 5" tweeters for high and midranges.
Centre: YAMAHA NS-AC140, dual 5" cones I think.
Rear: 2 12" Fisher Endtables with built-in speakers, circa 1975.

Phonograph: Some generic thing.
Playstation: Pixels the size of Milwaukee.
DVD: Samsung M103 (My Roommate's, I don't have one yet)
Receiver: Sony STR-D715, Dolby Pro-Logic
VCR: Quasar VH435 4-Head Hi-Fi Stereo

Despite what you might think, the sub-60Hz ranges are obviously present as the walls, the floor, and the ceiling rumble while watching, and the couch (out of pic) shakes as well.

If you have MS Photoeditor, there is an option under the "Image" menu to "resize". Don't shrink it too much, though.

When saving, you can also play around with the jpg compression setting to shrink the file size further.
