I have on BFG 7900 gtx 512 with a Zalman Fatality vga fan replaced the stock one.
I believe I have pretty good oc results, its at 708 core, up from 670 and 1760 mem, up from 1640.
temp. is at 40c, the Zalmans a good fan.
Any other oc results out there?

Very nice results on the core. Which overclocking utility are you using?

I've run my BFG at 700/1800 and it's been stable, but I keep it at stock.

Probably not alot of more performance I'm getting with my overclock, but with all the cards that I've own in the past, I always have overclock and I never fried a card or a processor.

I can't raise any MHz from my XFX 7900GTX XT 512MB (690/1750). The coolbits tool detects 690/1750 as optimal frequencies.

Other than RivaTuner, is there another utility that disables the internal clock test when trying to overclock? The current version of RivaTuner is not compatible with the 7900s and nForce drivers that recognize them.

powerstrip is another good overclocking utility that you can use

Well, all I can say is once Koolance releases a revised cooling block for the 7900 GTX 512MB Graphics card I'll be set. No fan can out perform a water cooled video card. At least if your using a water cooling product from Koolance.

mine is at 700/1.8 up from 675/1.7, rock solid

i could probably push the core up a bit more but 06 crashed at 715 so i couldnt be arsed trying others. im using coolbits.

I have used powerstrip for years and it works great with the 7900 gtx

I've downloaded the latest beta version of Powerstrip (v.3.64) and it does indeed work very well. So far, I've been able to push these XFX video cards with complete stability to 699/894, up from 690/875 defaults. Keeping in mind that I have these in SLI mode and watercooled, it seems that they were already close to their maximum clock speeds right out of the box.

I'm using the 3.63 version and it identifies and work with the 7900 gtx. I didn't know there is a 3.64 beta out there, I'll give it a try. This software is also good for setting refresh rates for different resolutions with profile set ups.

I'm pretty impressed, so far I'm getting 720MHz/1.79GHz, 3DMark06 stable. For some reason, it barely even moves the score though.. weird. I doubt it's game stable, but thats what I have it at now.

EDIT:
Maybe its not game stable :D Played Fear for 10 minutes, PC crashed to a black screen and the absolute loudest noise came through my headsets... my god it was the scariest thing I have ever seen... lol bumping it down to 710/1.78

Coolbits allows me to get up to 707/902. I'm sure my card will get plenty higher. The review for my card on the main page has a overclock of 725 core with powerstrip. Hopefully in the future when I need to overclock my card that high I can get speeds like that, I think I can, I get 0 issues with hours of gaming with Oblivion, BF2, and Fear.
