I'm out of town and my xbox 360 cant connect to xbox live, ive tried restarting the modem and setting it to find automatic, but nothing comes up. If anyone knows where i can get the dns server numbers can you please post, and calling my ISP didnt work either, they wouldnt give me them.
It worked once when I restarted the modem, then I disconnected the xbox to get on the computer and I couldnt get the xbox to pick up the server again.

If you're direct connecting the cable modem to the Xbox, you need to unplug the modem to reset it every time you swap from XBL to PC. The modem is capping it's learned MAC addresses to 1. When you unplug your uncles PC, the modem still remembers it's MAC and will NOT let your Xbox lease an IP from the upstream DHCP server. Remove power and the modem loses the MAC.
