The Zalman is quite universal. I would give it a shot. If you have to go back to stock cooling, replace the heatsink compund with Artic Silver.

ummm - the Zalman is almost as big as the card!!!!, bit too heavy for my liking.

The Silencer fits on the 7900GT, has the 7600GT the memory chips in the same location?

Try the AlCu. Much lighter, very close performance wise...

The Zalman VF700 fits the 7900GT with no problems at all. I have the CU model on mine in 5V silent mode, and love it.
