don't think these are whql, theres no cat file. these are probably just
whql candidates right?
Still no 84.xx for x64 :(

It says...
* This driver is WHQL certified for all GeForce 7 series and a limited number of GeForce 6 series GPUs.

I don't believe these are WHQL. WHQL non-certified during install.

which is what i said above ^.
Installed them.
Warned me that they were NOT whql for my 6800gts.
Probably identical to the 84.20 betas.

And I was agreeing with you.
And I was agreeing with you.
Yes i spoke to someone at nvidia pr. They are getting it fixed. Just a simply packaging problem.
I just hope they fixed the CS:S water shore rendering glitch...

I'd be happy with just a 64 bit version.

I d/loaded the ones from nvidia.com and dxdiag says WHQL Logo'd:No
wtf ?? Windows is insulting me about no-WHQL drivers during the
install of the 84.21 WHQL !
Nvidia is just becoming comic with its drivers releases... :thumbdwn:

Why is it such a big deal if they a WHQL or not?
Those two extra little screens you have to actually click something are just TOO MUCH. Damn that dirty Nvidia for giving us broken drivers! BrokeN! I can't click an extra two times!
BROKEN!
;)
I like the WHQL. It makes them feel secure, even though I know there is going to be ZERO difference between these and 84.20....well...since it doesn't have the one change that makes it .21 I guess they really are .20 in reality, aren't they?

WHQL is a pointless sucky exercise, and basically means the drivers adhere to a boring code most likely limiting their true potential.
Thus people tend to pull off better results with Beta drivers.
I like WHQL drivers cuz it proves that Nvidia gives some more money to
Micro**** ! :p :p :p
Yep, I got the message they are non-WHQL on my machine as well.
Also creating new game profiles is broken. When you create a new profile and try to add a new .exe, like hl.exe, it fails to add the .exe to the profile. I tried re-installing them, same thing.
Went back to 81.98 and it works fine. I'll have to skip this release.
The driver has been updated to correctly show WHQL.
From nVidia's website........
"Updated March 17, 2:00 PM PST: Fixed drivers to correctly include the WHQL certification. "
So if you want WHQL, you'll need to download the driver again.

So, how are they? Are these the magic Oblivion drivers or can we expect another set around March 20-22?
