I may have the install disk for the Audigy and Audigy 2zs. If I do, I will image both and post them on my site and you can choose to d/l the image of your choice, do a custom installation and put whatever you want on. No guarantees that I have both discs, but I am sure I will be able to link one or the other for you. The software apps will work on a one even if the disc is for a 2zs. So will the drivers for that matter, but thats neither her nor there.

zer0, you can d/l the iso for the install disc here (http://agaveandlime.com/A2zsDrvDisc.zip). The upload will complete in one hour from the timestamp on this post.

Always a pleasure. I do think I need to notify zer0 via pm, though.

Hi bknblk,

I too would like to install just the Surround Mixer, but I have the original Audigy installation CD still. Unfortunately, when I tried to use it to install the Mixer, it insisted on installing Audigy drivers as well. This made mince meat of my system as I attempted to reinstall the newer drivers back over the old ones it put on during the Mixer installation. Do we know of a way to install JUST the mixer?

you should be able to browse the root of that install CD and find the appropriate MSI for the sound mixer. I am going to mount the image real quick and see what it looks like. i was assuming a custom install would get it done. I will report back after seeing the root of the cd.

OK, I am back. Open the CD in explorer and navigate to driveletter:/Audio/SurMixer/Setup.exe

If you run that .exe you should then be installing Surround Mixer only. If you are wary of other installs occurring without you intending them to, you can copy that folder from the CD and create a temp directory from which to run it. Good Luck and welcome aboard the board.

Hey there,

I had the same problem and came across this helpful forum through my travels with google.

Is that iso file hosted anywhere else??

I am so used to having the Mixer program and went and upgraded the drivers. long story short don't fix what aint broke

Bump for request. Ready for D/L 7/2 8:30pm PDT.

It had to go up as a spanned archive. If you need help extracting let me know. If you have WinRar installed, simply right click on the lowest numberd part and choose "extract to", then your destination directory.

Hey!

Sorry to be a thread necromancer, but a quick search turned up this topic, and I also need the mixer for my audigy as I purchased it without the driver CD. It seems that the drivers available online for creative products are hopelessly crippled... now if only that surprised me.
-----------------

EDIT: Scratch that. Some people on the creative labs forums referred me to this (http://hosted.filefront.com/BadBoyforum) site. All the creative labs driver CDs are there as ISOs. No more crippled drivers!

Hi guys... i have a Creative SB Live! 0220 card.. recently my PC got screwed by a random virus and I had to format my entire HDD.. unfortunately i hadn't made backup copies of the drivers(i bought the card frm a friend and he had already misplaced the disc).. now i've been searching for almost a week now and still haven't found the drivers for my card... none of the drivers listed here are working.. can someone plz help me out?

PS the creative surround mixer dl doesnt work either.. it gives an error saying that there's a problem with ctdevcon.dll

You might prefer an up to date (fixed) driver, instead of what came on the disk:

Lol, is this thread a spam magnet or what? 5 posts by people with only 1 post count??? Something smells fishy.....

It's just poor lost creative users.
