Just got a 7800GS Leadtek 375/1200
The card overclocks really good, the maximum reported by Riva Tuner is 550-555mhz for the core and about 1500mhz memory.I got down to 1440mhz because if i set it above this line ,the video driver rolls it back to 1200mhz because that s the maximum allowed by coolbits2...
The core is set to 525mhz right now and the temps are ~50 degrees idle and ~75 degrees full load.

Do you think it s wise to keep 525/1440 if the core maximum is 25-30mhz more and thinking of the temps...i really don t know how good 75 degrees is for this card...

75c is really not to hot for them cards ,you could try a after market cooler if you think it running to hot but if it is running at 75c with a load then that temperture is not bad,I have both of my 7800GT overclocked from day one and I have had no problems, and it is nice to get the extra performance for free.

For GS there is no aftermarket cooler because of the hsi bridge...75 is the absolute maximum i got,in other games it doesn t exceed 65-70 degrees and i get no artefacts or instability
