I was thinking about possiblely getting a Tyan S2466N-4M but i would like to know if sticking with my Asus A7M266D is better?

Thank you, i have the asus mobo but i am considering the tyan, and i'd like to know if the GFFX is an exclusive AGP8x part. IF so i am worried that neither mobo will support it or *cough* a radeon 9700 pro. More info appreceated since my decision is looming large on the horizon.

they ( the mobo ) should be backwards compatible. if they weren't they ( nvidia , ati, etc.. ) would be shooting themselves in the foot. who would want to buy a new mobo just for a new video card. but i would drop an email to asus just to make sure.
