Hi, I just installed a brand new EVGA 7900 GT card. The clock speeds are supposed to be 500 MHz core speed and 1500 MHz memory clock. Coolbits says the speeds are 500 MHz and 750MHz. Is this because Coolbits is not yet compatible with the 7900GT or did I get a bum card? Help please.
Thanks

I have the same card(s) in SLI and your coolbits reading is correct.
The gpu memory is DDR so coolbits will say 500/750 (which is actually 500/1500). 750x2(DDR)=1500

Thanks, I appreciate the help. Should have realized that in the first place, the paranoia just took over.

So would I be correct then that my clock settings of 450 Core and 660 Memory are off? I had planned on trying some OC'ing, but found the freqncies lower than they should be, unless that is the setting for 2D mode..

I know this is off of my orginal topic, but what kind of overclocking is anybody experiencing with this card, Thanks.
If it auto detects it gives me 560Mhz and 1750Mhz.
