Ok, this is pretty stupid, but also a way to get some quick gold.
Join a guild then walk aroud the guild hall taking anything of value. Since you are a guild member they don't show as stolen. Weapons, jewels, potions anything and everything. Then take them to the nearest place to sell them and sell away.
Pretty silly if you ask me.
