7800GTX 512MB SLI : Core at 550mhz, memory at 1.7ghz?

Cards are from XFX. I just checked my clock frequencies in the Nvidia control center thing and the memory seems to be set really high... (1.7ghz). I thought I was reading a lot of people talking about 700mhz-900mhz values when overclocking.

I did not overclock the card myself. I did install the Xtreme G drivers from TweaksRus though.

I wanted to try overclocking my cards a bit since they run pretty cool (70 degrees tops for the warmer one, average at 60. 10 gdegrees less for the other one (60 tops, average at 50-54)).

But I got surprised by these values. Any tips to share on OCing those cards?

1.7 is the stock value

that is the effective speed, 700, 800, 900 is the actual speed of the chip i think, but take that x2

Anyone's got an idea where to look for a guide to overclocking that type of card in SLI?
