So I just got my zf900 delivered today.. 10mins later my card was back in the system.

Prior to the upgrade, my card ran warm:
idle 64c / load 82c+

After the cooler:
idle 44c / load 56c (10mins of rthdribl)

I'm quite pleased. (nana2)

How better is the VF900 from the VF700? Are they like day and night or just morning and afternoon (sort of)? The VF900 costs twice as much as the VF700, it better be twice as good as well!

idle 44?

my BFG 7900GT OC idle only 36C
and load never went above 53C

Yeah I'm wondering if my chip isn't top notch. =vP

What's the temp in your case? Mine is 37c. 7c above case temp isn't that bad. =vP

As far as vf700 vs vf900 .. the benchmark's I've seen show maybe 5c difference tops.

It'll auto detect about 14mhz faster than previous for core, and 30mhz for memory. I might give the volt mod a try now that I'm well below burning up my chip. =v)

My case temperature is around 35C.

VF900 is not really worth 49.99

I would really prefer a DHES cooling solution from AC for my 7900GT but unfortunately they have no plan for this.
