Logitech G5 mouse question

The scroll wheel on this mouse also has a left and right function. Anyone know if these can be recognized in gaming? I can't get them to work.

You can only bind keypresses to these controls. You must also enable game detection and in Game Mode Settings, leave 'keep other button assignments' checked in SetPoint.

Seems like it would work good for left and right leaning :)

Just remember SetPoint is very buggy, as is all Logitech software. Make sure you press Apply after each keypress binding. Once your profile works, do NOT view or play with it. The simple act of me viewing a profile to write this message, and pressing Cancel on the dialog to exit wiped my Battlefield bindings.
