Am I missing something? I looked at the exhibitor list and the floor plans and ATI is nowhere to be found! That is just CRAZY! Anyone know anything about this? One thing I'm happy about though is Ageia moved from Kentia Hall (where the smaller companies are) to the South Hall (albiet a fairly small booth toward the back...)

**EDIT** Just checked ATI's website and on thier calander of events...NO E3!!! That is just plain crazy...

Hmm.... maybe they dont have anything to show off this year... no R600 and i cant think of any ATI-sponsored games coming out soon... youd think they would have something though even if it was like a mobile part :(

Does that mean no Alan Wake? :( I think that was ATI sponsored wasn't it?
That's pretty pathetic if ATI isn't bothering attending the biggest game convention in the world.

Hmm...I dunno. I checked E3's website, and Remedy is not listed as attending...I also checked Remedy's website, and www.alanwake.com. Neither of them mention E3 06 (just E3 05). I did see on a fan site that said there will be new alan wake news at E3...Perhaps it will be shown at the publishers booth. Who publishes Remedy's games?

Last I heard they didn't have a publisher for Alan Wake. Rockstar published Max Payne 2.

Wow... I wonder why? This seems pretty odd. They were there the last 2 years.

I couldn't find a single thing about ATI and E3 2006, I looked at the floor plans and no ATI anywhere.

It probably doesn't make sense for them if they have nothing to show within close production. Nvidia is ALWAYS innovating something so you know they'll have a surprise under the cloth but ATi is a "following" type of company.

Theres really never anything on "show" from Nvidia and ATI, I don't consider having a Graphics Board that never makes it to retail as something important. They are usually there to promote their current lineup and brandname with games that they sponser... Remember E3 is more games then hardware.

As an example, last year ATI had Alan Wake and FEAR, never once did they actually mention and new cards to be released. They just had ruby girls throwing shirts with their logo's and product competitions, same for Nvidia.

Ati Rep 1: Our x1000 line is bombin, nvidia is whoopin us somethin awful....should we do e3 this year?!

Ati Rep 2: Hell no. That might help advertise our products, there capabilities, and above all help us get in conversation with developers and build a relationship with them so like nvidia, we can have them work closely with our hardware and use our features to the best of their abilities, it might even help us push a few cards. We can't have that we're all comfy at no.2 ...how good can xgi ever get right boys? hahaha

Ati Rep 3: But e3 always has the scantly clad booth babes!!!

Ati Rep 2: No, they will be dressed less ****ty this year, you want yer jollies your gonna have to stick to the magna resembled asian *****s down the street....

Ati Rep 3: Damn....

Ati Rep 2: Come on, let's get back to rage3d and rip apart that mike guy s'more..it's not like we have a new architecture ever coming out to focus on....
