First Public Beta of Opera 9 Available

Opera has been releasing new versions with bug fixes about once a week. In fact, I think the latest publc beta is older than the version I'm running.. :-/

Get the latest version from here (http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/) instead. The latest build versions should be near the top of the page.

I also recommend the classic installer over the new one that the public release seems to use (InstallShield).

Opera 9 should rock. I havent used the classic installer since they started with installshield, so I don't know what the alternative is still offered for, but I'm sure there's a reason (I didn't really care enough to look.)

I just seemed to have some bad luck with betas, so I'm avoiding most of them.
