Except for tonights game, Colorado has looked very strong so far, I think they have the force to go all the way. Detroit has looked very shaky against Edmonton and Calgary has been pretty inconsistent. Ottawa is a solid team but I don't have faith in Ray Emery YET for the playoffs, he hasn't stole a game for them yet and I'm not sure if he can. Nevertheless, NJ won't win. :p
The rangers have been a joke, don't get ****y just because they sweeped the Harlem Globetrotters of hockey. Not to mention, didn't you love Dallas until they got gangraped by the Avs, you bandwagon jumper you. :p

I am predicting Ottawa and New Jersey in the final, and Ottawa will take it in 5.
It's about damn time a Canadian team wins the cup, IT'S OUR DAMN GAME!!!!!! :banghead:

It's about damn time a Canadian team wins the cup, IT'S OUR DAMN GAME!!!!!! :banghead:alas, Ottawa and Jersey can't play in the finals, since they're in the same conference. the Sens can play the Devils for the chance to play in the finals, however, if both teams get that far.
actually it was first played in england:Dactually hockey, like basketball, is a Canadian game. however, the Stanley Cup itself was given to us by Lord Stanley, the Earl of Preston (and Governor General of Canada), so teams could play for it in a national championship.

What's happening to Montreal? What's happening? This is insane, you may as well start calling it rape. Pathetic. I guess Carolina is getting through, I lost my Pro Line lol.

Hockey was never invented in Canada, and it really was played for the first time in England.

Where did you guys get this information? I always assumed hockey was started by the Soviets to keep their military in shape in the harsh climate with ice and it grew from there. I guess I was wrong. Heh.
You all are wrong. Hockey was first played by Indians. Look it up.

When did I say we INVENTED hockey, I didn't. I said it's our game. Not the same thing. You guys have your queer ass NFL and NBA, Canada has hockey as the most popular sport. Remember, a large chunk of the GOOD players that are on the US teams are Canadian.......and European of course. ;)
The Cup will stay in the U.S. again this year.
Hey, I'm a huge hockey fan and I think most of us in this thread know the ratio of Canadian, Europian and U.S. players on teams. Big deal. Who cares? It's not about where the individuals are from, it's what team wins the Cup.
Hockey is Canada's sport, because it is the only sport in Canada! What else you all got to do, throw snowballs at each other? :D
I have nothing against Canada, hell, the Online Ladder Clan that I am on is called Canadian Defence Network, but we make fun of each other over there too.
Canada; America's Attic
