Doh, Sens fall in OT 7-6. Fan on the shot on a clearing attempt cost them the game. :thumbdwn:

You wait and see NJ boy, as soon as Ottawa cleans up the Buffalo situation they'll go in and rape NJ or Carolina in 5 games or less.

Yeah, I didn't get to watch the game. I was busy tearing down my PC, again. Anyways, my brother called me and told me the horrific news. I was like :wtf:
Same thing happened in the Colorado game as well. What the hell is goin' on?
They'll bounce back. NJ to win it all. You just watch.

You just watch.the devils couldnt get there trap game set up. carolina learned what the rangers tried todo but couldnt due to injuries and just being plain tired. carolina knew that if you break the trap and keep the puck in front of the net you are going to break brodure. i just couldnt believe they got owned that hard thoe.

This is going to be the lowest rated Cup finals ever. Nobody cares, and I couldn't be happier. I've officially given up on the NHL. AHL FTW!!1

After watching the NHL since I can remember(remember when Yzerman signed if thats some sort of timeline), I personally am starting to feel the same way. I just really don't care for the direction that the NHL is going in and have been losing interest in the sport over the last couple of years.

AHL FTW!!1thats how i feel about baseball and basketball. the minor leaguers always play with so much more heart and determination, it makes for some exciting games. i think the problem with the playoffs is that none of the big market teams have really made it but i do think with the introduction of the shoot off in overtime has made it much more exciting to watch now.

I prefer it this way, look at the finals now, both teams statistically speaking....suck. Before you would have the same few teams taking the cup every year because they had all the money to spend on the high dollar players. Now the playing field has been leveled somewhat.
BTW, GO OILERS!!!!!!!!
Of course, Roloson just got injured, so I don't think they will be going far in the final. :(

ya i agree. i hope hockey sort of turns out how footbal has turned out. where as you have diffrent teams winning every year and the less off teams have alomst the same chances as the big town teams.

Looks like there's a great chance of the cup heading back to the south! lol
2-0 Hurricanes....
damn i missed the second game...how was it?
It was a blow out.
Going back to edmonton 2 games down is sad.. though I hope they can bounce back and win a few games, it would be so sad to see the oilers get swept after they've worked so hard.
I really do think they look like the better team on the ice too, they just cant get anything passed Ward.

Woot! Go Oil! They played smarter in game 3. They went back to blocking shots, clogging up the shooting lanes and NOT taking any stupid penalties. Markkanen made some insane saves also, that should get his confidence back up after getting slaughtered in game 2. :)
