Hi. I just build my new gaming pc, and I have the following specs.

AMD Athlon 64 Fx-57 2.8 Ghz
XFX Geforce 7900GTX
2 Gb of Corsair Ram PC3200 ( 2-3-3-6 333Mhz Dual Channel)
ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra Motherboard
SeaSonic S12-600 ATX12V 600W Power Supply
1 40GB HD, 1 200GB HD,1 80GB HD
Windows XP Pro SP1

Now, you would think a system like this would perform dang well, but When I run PCMark, I only get a CPU score of 4000, and Other fx-57 benchmarks are ovver 5600. I am curious if my cpu is going to hell. If it isnt, how can I fix this? I got the other fx-57 benchmark from http://www.tbreak.com/reviews/article.php?cat=cpu&id=386&pagenumber=2

I have no spyware on my computer, nor any viruses that could be slowing it down. Please help. Thanks. I also have the Blue Orb II Cpu cooler

Your ram should be running @ 400 not 333.
DO you have 2x 1gb sticks

or 4x 512mb sticks.

If your running with 4 dimms, the memory will be set to 333 instead of 400,
also check your memory is running at 1t and not 2t. Although if you have 4 dimms installed it will most likely drop down to 2t.
