I have been trying to get my quadro 4 900 xgl working in Redhat 7.3. Does any one have an example X86config-4 I can look at.
I realize my settings will be different, but I would like to study a X86config-4 that works.

Thanks,

Frank

Create an XF86Config-4 file using Xconfigurator. After that's done you need to make a few modifications to it. You need to edit the modules section. In there you need to disable/remove the lines that load GLcore and dri and you need to check if there's a line that loads glx.

After that you need to change the video driver in the device section from nv to nvidia. That's all.

Thanks, I know about the steps you indicated below, but I'm still having problems. I'm also still in the process of learning linux. After I have modified my XF86Config-4 how do I get linux to configure my mouse and keyboard?

Thanks for the help.

Frank:

I've got a Quadro-4 750 XGL up and running on Red-Hat 7.3.

I've attached my XF86Config-4 file.

I thought I attached the XF86config-4 file.
Trying again with a .txt extension...
