Has anyone caught word to when eVGA's KO series cards are going to be available?

Is there a mistake cause 7900GT CO Superclocked is 550 core 1560 memory, but KO is only 500/1500?? wtf??

Well hooray if its not a mistake, that means the superclocks will remain top dog lol.

Yeah, hope it stays on top. However, I noticed that the fan/heatsink are different and it appears the KO has better cooling solution. Why didn't eVGA do this in the first place? It's kind of retarded that a company would keep the memory bare on such an overclocked card. This kind of upsets me, but at least I'm getting a VF900 for mine, but we shouldn't have to do that. I'm thinking maybe the KO will overclock well due to the new HSF design. Bastards.

Got off the phone with Mario Gastelum last week, the KO series is NOT on sale, and wont be for a month. He said it will surpass the SC's by great margin, close to GTX speeds (he wouldnt tell exactly) All he said was, they scream. They WILL have copper heatsinks, and a fan to push the air out of the case.

Well their web site says "Available Now" and it does show it clocked lower than the SC. Unless, Mario is referring to a faster KO series that is not yet available?

And that HSF doesn't blow air out either. The 7900 GT's clock just as high or higher than the GTX's, don't they? I think someone is blowin' smoke.

Yup, their site says In Stock and Buy Now for $349.99.

BTW, that link has the same specs as my 7900GT.

There will be a 79GT KO/SC?

That's the same card. I guess they could release a SC version, but it'll be the same as the current SC just with a different heatsink, like this one. (still mad at eVGA)

maybe Mario refering to 7900GTX KO not 7900GT KO

Well since that dude said that he said "close to GTX speeds" then no, he wouldn't be talking about the GTX version. There is obviously a big mistake on eVGA's site, doesn't make sense.
