View Full Version : Intels new chipset to support DX10?
I think it should, there are different quality levels aswell I think.
I dont think Aero is very GPU intensive really, not sure but I think it will run on even the most lowend DX9 GPUs, and I suspect the HyperMemory and Turbocache techs on the lowend stuff is partly targeting Aero since it WILL need a certain amount of memory.
But it most certainly wont be any good for gaming.
Aero requires min PS 2.0 capability right? again i am not sure.

Yeah I guess.. its running DX9 AFAIK, so I spose it would.
Thats correct, also, Aero does not use anything DX10 for the effects.
Yeah... It will be able to do DX10 slideshow!

I dunno why they bother with HDMI. Just an unnecessary expense and some people have already found an exploit.

DailyTech has an article on the new Abit/Universal Mobo dubbed Abit IL-80MV, is a 945GT motherboard designed specifically for Yonah (and eventually Merom). Of course, the news shocker is that this motherboard features 15-pin D-sub analog and HDMI video out. With the AACS decoder, the HDMI output will support HDCP signals -- making it perfect for a Vista-compatible display or a high definition TV.

I hear the the Merom Cores are pretty fast.
Also, if Intel is going to add the HDMI Supported Integrated Graphics Chipset to the 965G Chipset Motherboard, than that means it will be powered by the new Conroe Dual-Core CPU with the Extreme Edition having 1333MHz Front Side Bus. If You ask Me, that is a lot of food for thought.:D
