Nice review Brian. I recently read a review on it in Maximum PC and they loved it. They said it was completely quiet even when they had their ear next to it. Did you find that to be the case? Also, when it says it's for the 7800s, do you know if that includes the 7800 GTX 512? Anyway, I'm thinking of getting the ATI version for the X1900 and if they work for the GTX 512 as well, possibly giving those a shot for my SLI setup.
Great review Brian
Good job! Good to have another 3rd party cooling option, especially for SLI.

Was just looking for a quieter cooler for my 7800GTs and Abit KN8(only one exp slot between the cards. Jakup mentioned these and after looking at a bunch of different reviews I finally found one that was using these coolers in an AN8(same config). Temps were a bit better and much quieter. So I just ordered a pair from CrazyPC.
Thanks for the review,Brian

The X1 should work for any PCI-e 7800. The X2 should work for any X1800 or X1900. Arctic Cooling provides a nice little matrix to help determine which solution fits which cards here (http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga1.php).
I just put my ear right next to it with the case open, and I could just barely hear it. The hard drive and the Zalman CPU fan (quiet) sounded louder than the X1.

Glad you liked the review. Let us know how well a pair works in SLi mode.

Will do. I am mainly going for quiet and it will be a tight fit in my KN8 but as long as it works, thats fine by me.
What about the 7900 GT on the X1?

Well, i finally got them in and had some time to install them. Things are a bit snug but they are working great. Very quiet. Keeping the cards cool. I am about to play some BF2 and will give them a bit of a workout. Will report back.
Excellent, thanks for keeping us updated.
