Hey, I'm just wondering what's the best cooling solution for a 7900GT. I've been looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835186133 , however I'm not sure if it'll fit. Another option I was considering was the new http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835186001 Thanks

AFAIK you would have to modify the nv5 to make it fit a 7900gt. you would have to saw off about an inch from the tip to make it fit. or u can modify ur case so it sticks out the back.

That doesn't sound like it would be all that hard, just take it downstairs to the ol' band saw and it'll be nothing. Does anynody have an experience with the Accelero?

Brian reveiwed the Accelero here (http://www.nvnews.net/articles/accelero_x1/index.shtml).

The best solution seems to be the VF900-Cu.

Yup, the Zalman VF900 is the best you can get right now.

NV5 is good too, but the Accelero is not very impressive.

Cool, thats another one I have been looking in to. I see that Arctic Cooling is releasing a fanless solution in June for the 7900GT. I may wait and see how that reviews.

Is the Zalman also the best for replacing an EVGA ACS heatsink on the 7800GTXs? I'm not happy with cards hitting 80c, and I'd like to keep the factory overclock. How well would they work in a case that has two 120's up top and two 92's in the rear?

Those look good I am still debateing wheather to put mine on,but I have a 7900GTX and it has a great stock cooler but that looks sharp ,I also bought some copper heatsinks for mine instead of those blue ones.
