Has anyone played the original MechWarrior? I think it came out on SNES.

I did, and it wasn't that good im my opinion. Though MechWarrior2: 31st century combat pwned all back then as far as I'm concerned. :D

Oh ya. I have Retuen to Castle Wolfenstein for XBOX and when you beat the game you get the original 3D version. It was awesome. What i found interesting on it was it didn't take any time to load but on the old 386 you had to wait a minute ro 2. Haha, good stuff.

Its from setsound.exe a sound config utility that was found with many DOS games. An example of a game that used it was BioForge. How many of you remember that game? I'd love to see it remade. The original wasn't that good, but remade with modern graphics and controls. It would be awesome.

Basically the game is a fixed camera 3rd person action adventure. You play a guy that wakes up (no memory of his previous life), having be turned into a cyborg on a "Prison Plant". You basically have to get off the planet and try to find out your past. Memorable moments include beating a prisoner (who worships a fork) to death with his own arm and fighting a cyborg Raptor.
