I have yet to try Oblivion. I'll probably get it next year, and play it on my uber rig once I FINALLY have it. I'm thinking either dual 8800GTs (if they're single slot/512MB ram) or a single 7950GX2. Not sure yet. Probably the dual 8800GTs or what every they are called.

Oh, it will. It most certainly will. Now that I have two rather steady jobs- I've decided to slowly stash money away. I'm gonna' save up till x-mas of '07. By then I should have well over $4k stashed away. Then, I'll plunge into the most uber-rig I can possibly get. Probably something to the effect of 8gigs of DDR2-1066 quad-channel ram (if it is out by then ;) ), a quad-core K8L, Quad SLi (one way or another), some monster of a monitor, 4xof the newest Raptors in either RAID 0+1 or RAID 5, plus two 500GB hard drives (PATA, 16MB cache) in RAID 0, etc. I'm gonna' go WAY overkill. Then, I wont buy ANYTHING for probably several years. Such a rig would last me quite some time. I don't know, I might actually buy some new vcards for the rig after about a year or two, maybe a cpu upgrade after the second or third year of owning it. Other than that the upgrades will be minimal at best.

God, just thinking of such a rig gives me, well, let's just settle with "a Gib". ;)

I know. I just pwned on BFME. It was just a skirmish- me against 4 easy armies, and I was Isengard. I know, not much of a game really. I wanted it to BARELY be a challenge- I just felt like feeling uber-superior and want to pwn like there was no tomorrow. I feel much better now. :D

Yes. VERY true. Even though the graphics are now quite dated, the original Half Life series is still VERY enjoyable to me. I just love the part in Blue Shift (in the beggening) when Barney is in the elevator with the two scientist. They did that part SO VERY WELL. It was just awesome and so dramatic/cenematic feeling imo. I wont give much more away though. Also, that intro (helicopter ride) in Opposing Force pwned for some reason. As far as THE original HL itself- not sure what my favorite part is, I just like the whole game period.
