Just curious if anyone knows why is there only 2 versions of nvidias driver that work with the 3007wfp in 1280x800 mode? If i cant get the full rez i would like to at least use the advantages of the newest drivers. :) thanks!

Maybe I should have said why it only works in 1280X800 in 2 drivers releases on the 7800 "GO" series. (Well geforce "go" seriese in general)

Nope it doesnt, thats why im runing it at 1280x800. Tried a good 85% of the drivers from that site, only 2 worked so far. Was just curious if someone knew why, would save me some trouble.

In the nvidia 80 series of drivers only 84.12 and one other release work with the go series with the 3007wfp in any rez. Real pain, would like to use the newer drivers, all pre 80 drivers work fine tho oddly enough.

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried the 30" drivers in vista with the "GO" series?

That monitor really only has 2 resolutions:
- 1280x800
- 2560x1600: requires dual-link DVI, the single does not have enough bandwidth to handle that resolution.

If your card does not have a dual-link DVI it will default to the lower resolution. And I seem to remember somewhere that some of the 7800 either did not have dual-link DVI or only the GT and above may have only one of the DVI output as dual-link capable.

If you have 2 DVI connector, try the other connector.

well its a GTX GO, and the vanilla 6800 go works, so there is something fishy in my opinion. The card can go that high and it lets me, dual-link just doent work.
