G80 VS R600? Conroe VS M2? HAHAHA...

Maybe what someone alluded to in the other thread, will using Ageia physics require a resolution drop to keep framerates up with UT2K7?

What a nice guy.
Ask if PC gamers will be able to play against console gamers in UT07.

Hmm.. I think I remember them saying a while back that they could do it if they could somehow balance the play

Yes, I'd love to hear what he thinks will run UT2007 the best. Not all of us can afford Quad-SLI :)

Me too but I haven't heard anything about that recently. Maybe he can tell us more.

Ask him exactly what the benefit from haveing an Ageia physX card installed on the system.
Such as
FPS higher or lower
Is there a certin point in the game where you do get a dramatic level of detail increase from haveing the physx card (unlike GRAW where it looks, the same just lower fps)
Will there be no use for the physics card in online games due to the size of network traffic witch hasent allowed for detaied physics in any game to date for online mode. eg (hl2 where where its physics complexity is greatly reduced and the number of physics objects are reduced)

Likewise, and will the nvnews forum members get a free copy of the game? :D
Ok seriously, something like "what factors have to be taken into consideration in order to accuratley start development on a game that may not be released for 4 to 5 years?" and tie in "will software development cycles continue to grow in time and complexity?" (This will get him talking about his middleware something he seems keen to push so he will be happy to answer those questions at least, although I imagine he's had them before).
For something original and quirky. "Who's better sonic or mario?"

what will ageia ppu add to ut2k7 :)
Ask him for a job.
As a tester.
:smoking:
I definetely want to ask a few Ageia related questions.. especially in regards to performance :)

Not sure if this a question for Tim Sweeney, it may be for Ageia though if you get a chance to talk to them Jakup.
Could you ask if a more powerful PPU that may come out several months down the line will effect previous games that support it. Example, UT07 uses the current PPU's, when and if more powerful ones come out in 6months to a years time, what difference will it have on UT07 and other titles that support it.

Mouse and Keyboard FTW :D
- What does he think about DX10 & the unified shaders ?
- How compatible is UE3 with DX10 & what does he think about the performance in DX9 games under DX10 (Windows Vista) ?
- What does he think about the future of PC gaming ?
- What are the most important next generation game features he think we are going to see & what's - generally - he / other game devs are focusing in right now ?
OR in short : the next step in graphics engines ?
- What does he think about the concept of GPU physics simulation ? & how viable is that in comparsion to a dedicated PPU ?
- Is GP-GPU the future ?
- What features does he like to see in the next gener GPUs ?
- What games he likes to play atm (if any :D) & what other game engines he's interested in "technically" ? (Bethesda's Oblivion , Monolith's FEAR , Crytek's Crysis ..etc)
dang those were alota questions!!
if you can get answers for 2 of them that would be great! :D
Nice questions. I've been trying to think of some but I've been drawing a blank.
Ask him if he's your long list brother :p
- How compatible is UE3 with DX10 & what does he think about the performance in DX9 games under DX10 (Windows Vista) ? to expand on this question. ask him what he thinks about dx10 being vista only...
