great that is just what we need, games that dont end...

The concept is more than plausible, since most AI oriented scripting languages rely on such interactions. Like in the sims, each object has a predefined set of action attributes and it is based on the type of interaction between the player that the action is obtained.

Games such as the sims and black and white are already fine example of such infinite games.

we already have such a game. it's called EverQuest. they just keep releasing expansions.
