Sweet. I love getting new hardware. So much fun. You'll love the keyboard. It is by far the nicest keyboard I have every used. The feel is unbelievable. And the lcd is pretty nice. That ram is awesome too. I have the Mushkin Redline XP PC4000 sticks which use exactly the same actual ram chips and they are amazing. Currently overclocked to 520mhz @ 3-3-2-5 timings @ 1T. They are awesome.

And the X-Fi cards are amazing as well. My Fatal1ty sounds freaking amazing with my Logitech Z-5300's and my Sennheiser HD555's. You won't be disappointed that's for sure. Have fun!

And the lcd is pretty nice.I love getting new stuff too, and bought the keyboard couse it has great community support, and i like the adjustable key-light function..(yes the keyboard has lot's of more functions, but that was one of the things i was looking for ''A keyboard that lichts up in the dark'' Sounds silly, but i have lot's of night gaming sessions
That ram is awesome too. I have the Mushkin Redline XP PC4000 sticks which use exactly the same actual ram chips and they are amazing. Currently overclocked to 520mhz @ 3-3-2-5 timings @ 1T. They are awesome. that's great to hear aswell couse i readed that they almost use the same identical chips as Crucial ballastix wich overclock great aswell.

And the X-Fi cards are amazing as well. My Fatal1ty sounds freaking amazing with my Logitech Z-5300's and my Sennheiser HD555's. You won't be disappointed that's for sure. Have fun! i can't go wrong, can i (nana2)

Damn yeah those are so sweet looking, and by the reads of it good for the ears too (allready knowed them +-)... But i've had alway's one thing in my mind wich is how loud these (general) PC? speakers) go.

Couse i've alway's and still using @ the moment a Stereo tower etc.. with 2 30cm bass speakers 4 mid range and 1 horn tweeter. (Rave speakers as you can call them) 4 speakers in total) front / back

I Once had the JVC TH-A10R Home cinema system with powered subwoofer and hooked it up with my creative soundblaster live 1024 plus the stereo tower.. (So i had 12 speakers or something in totall)
I wanne know if something like pc speakers can compare to that.
I like loud music...i mean the hardest...
The JVC th-a10r had a great powered subwoofer (HUGE (25cm bass speaker) and heavy with big alluminium cooling system)... but the sattelite's ? yes they were alluminium and top notch... but i want volume :)

If the logitech Z5500s can provide me with such power im demanding, then i'm all for that..

the problem is im used to some high audio systems, but not (PC / systems?)

am i underestemating PC soundsystems ?

logitech Z5500s is there better ?

not that logitech is planing on releasing a new set in (for example a month) and me buying this kit.

Damn i need that new Logitech keyboard :P this thing has had it's day with all the frags i made. I'm typing like a *********

Resistance is futile..

if you all could inmagine what music im playing from day to day... i mean it has all the sound effects you could inmation...
hearing them in 5.1 / 7.1 would be wicked..

i controll you souls, don't you understand, it's to late to return, youre all under my command ^^

Yeah, I'd recommend the Logitech Z5500's. My Z5300's are amazing (their the original 5300's not the newer 5300e's). I have yet to play them at anything over 50% volume. Pretty sure things would explode (my ear drums mostly) if I go to the top. And the base is sweet on these things. And the 5500's have twice the power of mine so I'd say they're sweet.

Nice job with the X-fi. But I must say, the Z-5500's suck. The sub is loud, but not clean sounding at all. Thee satellites sound dull and flat. Why? Because the lack a tweeter, so the highs are pretty much non-existant. Get some Klipsch Promedia 5.1 and you'll be much much happier.

I agree, and that's my worry (see above) the JVC TH-A10R only had one speaker for sattelite.. that's my biggest fear... Sounds dull indeed. (compared to (see above again 230cm and 4 midrange + 1 big horn tweeter)

I'm olmost willing to buy those bose Stage speakers (the originals used on concerts) (The real thing0 that costs 1200€ second hand) that's how much i love music and willing to pay for it.

ahhh there's so much more to the story.. to bad im drunk right now + the fact my english is not @ it's best @ this time's

To sum it up

Were building karlson speakers (old 60's concept) Horn principe, so that how we think about music and sound...

Or am i going to deep now for you guy's ?

who's we ? well me and my dad... he warned me when i starded about buying speakers with the soundcard i bought... so he guided me to some german site and said he'd would support me (sinds he like's music himself and bought a terreac amply just a few day's ago) to buy (my guess) something BIG (BOSE speakers) ahhhh just to much :)

Something that looks like this :)

http://www.martins-music.co.uk/images/bose%20stack.jpg

to be continued ?

im far from done myself :)

Here are some picture's from the karlson project...in it's first stage

Picture's say more then words (this is for 1 speaker box alone)

p.s. @ the back you see the speaker i'm using right now :)

You don't really need something as loud as horns for your room, unless you plan on going deaf before age 30.

I recommend either going with the Klipsch's for a nice all around package (below $400), or if you're really into SQ, buy yourself a nice pair (5 individual for 5.1) of bookshelf or tower speakers and power them with a nice reciever. The possibilities are endless as far as tower/bookshelf speakers go, as there are so many out there. If you've got the cash to spend, just go to a speaker store and listen to all the different ones.

Bookshelfs:

Towers:

Those are very very high end models I pictured, but I think you get the idea. These type of speakers as I pictured above will give you the best listening experience possible. They will get quite loud and sound very clean doing it.

I'm really trying to make up my mind right now... PC setup's are so much diffrent from stand alone set's

i wanne combine both, thus i must brainstorm if it's possible.

Not that this is the ultimate for me and this thread... suggestions are still open...

Should i go hardcore.. between.. or PC setup.

am i going to fast ?

damn it's hard, sinds i work hard for it

dude, i'd definetly go with the 5500's. My friend has them and they sound just absolutely great, and don't worry about the volume, he can't make it up half way on the dial without having to stop for fear of his ears bleeding. I'm sure you'd enjoy them, however, i'm not an audiophile, and i don't have a huge grasp on what sounds "good" and what does, i just know what i hear, and they're awesome speakers, the sub however does come across as a bit loud as someone mentioned, but none the less, it's still great

MaximumPC really likes the M-Audio Studiophile LX4 and 5.1 expander system. In fact, they kicked the 5500's off their list of favorite stuff for the LX4 system, you should look into them.
