sata raid on nforce4

Any chance there is a simple driver that can be uploaded during the solaris installation to use the onboard nforce4 raid, much like is done with a windows installation? I'll even beta this as my install is on a fresh system. The solaris installion without raid worked fine.

The other choice is dmraid, but this is an order of magnitude more complicated than my abilities. I have the gentoo iso with dmraid, but haven't figured out how to use it much beyond booting with it.

This is a dedicated solaris PC, so no dual boot will be required.

Anybody from NVIDIA who can comment on a schedule for Solaris NVRAID support? I'd be happy to volunteer and test any early alpha builds available as well. ;)

Lack of NVRAID support from Solaris is the last remaining issue that stops me from being completely happy with my K8N-DL (4 SATA HDDs configured to use nvraid): So far, I still need a PATA HDD running the boot manager and my Solaris partition in non-RAID mode. :thumbdwn:
