HOLY SH*T that looks freaking awesome!

The first video of it looked good but resembled bf2 way too much.

This one looks totaly different. It has artillery, some sort of huge flying craft\base, and from what I can tell *OBJECTIVES*!

It looked like a "storm the base, set the bomb, blow sh** up" objective rather than just hold the point.

Heh, I wasnt really thinking about this that much, BF2 is still great IMO (and it should be, its less than a year old) but now... damn, adding objectives, bringing back artillery, and adding enormous flying bases... Im sold :p

Hopefully it isnt too similar to Quake Wars though. I'll probably get both and itd be a shame if they played almost the same.

What a freaking amazing year for gaming. Theres a TON of AAA titles coming out. This is going to be an awesome E3 jAkUp, youre one lucky SOB. If I didnt live 3000 miles away from it, Id figure out some way to go :D

I dunno...Engine looked pretty sweet...Definetly not up to UE3 or anything...but it looked insanely fun!!! They better have it playable at E3! (nana2)

If its the same engine itl probably run great. BF2 was pretty heavy on the system but IMO it ran much better than Battlefield Vietnam, and looked much better as well.

Itl be nice to have one game thatl probably run really well at high settings :p

They would have to seriously screw something up to make it run bad on my system... but I wont put that past them ;)

Looks like a BF2 mod to me. The tanks and the APCs look exactly like those in BF2, except they shoot blue stuff. Textures and soldier models were even the same. Only things that looked different were the mechs and the flying fortress thing. It does look fun though, we'll see. Only way I'll get this game is if it comes out before QW.

I have yet to see that particular vid, but the screenies look like the BF2 graphics engine... did someone already say that it had the same engine and I missed it? If it is, that'd be pretty cheap... an 18+ month gap in releases and the same old engine.. that's sad actually.:thumbdwn:

Not really. Its the same engine because the engine works. It works pretty damn well actually. It runs fantastic on new hardware and it scales pretty well on older hardware.

Id much rather see this game look good and run good than have yet another title this winter thats probably going to totaly kill my system.
