Keep a lookout for game stores taking preorders and preorder the things guys, seriously. Regardless of "OFFICIAL )OMG OFFICXAL!!! ALLOWE DBY SDONTY PEREODERS!!!", stores jump the gun all the time and you WILL have your place in line. I preordered my X360 4 months before you could "officially" preorder one.

A friend of mine got 3 360's, sold 2, and got a nice HDTV with the money he made. Not a bad idea at all.

Just be FAST, sell the NIGHT you get it with Buy it Now. Prices fell fast with X360.

I hate when people say this kind of stuff... especially on a video card forum where MANY people pay this much or MORE just for the video card portion of their PC :\.

Not everyone has the most expensive video card here. Hate it all you want it's a still a rich mans toy at those prices.

Try reading a few posts up. Find a store that will take your 50$ and put you in their list.

Huh? It's releasing in the UK on Nov 17th... but you shouldn't have a problem importing them since the games will not be region locked, just movies.

Are you sure? They said 2 million at launch? For Japan/USA/Europe that doesn't sound like an awful lot...

Two million is the initial shipment but they plan to have another 2 million before the end of december... so in two months thats a 4 million shipment... we will see if they can meet it though.

There are going to be massive shortages. I think I will preorder one from a gamestore rather than online. No one has any money where I live so the probably wouldnt sell out.

I smell shortage due to selling well but I think Sony has the production facilities to actually make the system fast enough. They have seven more months and I wouldn't have douted they were prepping for awhile now (news came out awhile back of them converting PS2 Factories to PS3).
