Looks like its going to be a hybrid, like Perfect Dark Zero was. Graphically looks great but the gameplay doesn't resemble Rainbow Six at all.

Yes, my first impression was very nice graphics!! then WTF??!! God that series did a complete 180.

Not saying it can't be good, I just think it shouldn't be called Rainbow Six.

Exactly, Heck if they want to use the name, use it in a manner that leaves it open to become a side game... not the main series.

That looks very similar to GRAW for the 360... I'm guessing it's the same engine, since both games were/are being developed internally by UBI.

Thought it was another homemade engine... but I can't find anything regarding the engine...

It looks like Splinter Cell during the fights... I liked that way of shooting in Splinter Cell. And the graphics are really hot.

What can you tell us about the game’s engine? What visual improvements can gamers expect to see? Are you running on a made-from-scratch engine or are you developing upon an existing technology?

Maxime Béland: We are using the Unreal Engine 3. As for the physics, Novodex was our choice. So expect something very impressive technology wise, as we are making great achievements with this engine.

Also it’s a great engine for Multiplayer needs.

I think its UE3 though...
It's a Ubisoft modded UE3 engine and suprisingly they are not even using the GRAW engine. They've been making it for 2 years they said.

This is probably the 360 version as they said it will be just like GRAW but you would be able to see your gun in first person, that's the only diference.
