Plans of new computer are changed due to: Waiting for DX10, would be waste to buy a new entire system now, because of coming change of DirectX and other technology.

I wouldnt bother till crossfire is more mature, the 7900GTX's clober it in benchmarks even though a single gtx gets owned...

If Oblivion is on your list nothing beats a X1900 Sli rig. Not even speaking about performance: HDR+AA & HQAF.

Funny I disagree.....

7900GTX SLI = very fast performance
x1900 Cross Fire = very fast performance

I find all my games run as fast or faster than they did before with my new X-Fire line up. But I also see nothing wrong with getting SLI either, and yes X-Fire is less mature but that's no reason to trash it's performance. I think ATI's cross fire is more mature than SLI was when it hadn't matured yet. DRivers tend to work well. I've been with SLI since the very start also, only recently went ATI.

To the OP, nice looking system. You should be very happy, can't think of any suggestions but on some of your questions, go with the X-Fi if you don't mind spending the money. You'll be happy you did later on in the game. For a PSU I use the PC Power and Cooling 510 and my stats are similar to yours, I've noticed no problems. Good PSUs by far, I know OCZ makes good ones also. HDD wise, 150GB Raptors are nice if you can spare the cash. Either one or two in raid, also for storage you can get the 400GB 16MB cache wester Digital, nice drive.

Well enjoy man, hope you have fun and good choice to swap out the stock fan on the ATI card. That's my only complaint with the x1900s, those stock cooling solutions suck in the noise department.
