Here it is, includes a long movie with just about every PS3 game that was on display, including the consoles themselves. Also includes a reason for not showing Wii...hehe

Its a rather large file (98MB) so I have uploaded to yousendit temporarily. It should be on google video soon as well.

Wow. That 8 days video was very good. Was this game playable? Seeing this video is tempting me to sell one or maybe both of my 7900gtx's to buy a ps3. Pc gaming is starting to frustrate me.

Not it wasn't and we don't know if that was actual ingame footage or not even though it does look like it might be... who knows...

jackup, I have a pc with specs very similiar to yours and am curious from what you've seen / played so far, how you think these ps3 demos compare both graphically and in framerates to your pc.

I was not excited about the ps3 as a game machine, previously mainly interested in getting it as a blu-ray player, however, I'm slowly changing my mind after seeing some of these gameplay videos being released from e3.

I've been trying to figure out the shape of this thing... does anyone know why they made it like that? With the round top and the seam that goes all the way around...

Does it double as a scanner or something? Thats what it looks like :p

Yeah I saw the press conference video, Eight Days (PROVIDED THAT WAS IN GAME AND CONTROLABLE) looks exactly like the game ive been dying to play for decades

The Eight Days video kinda confused me .. is there any confirmation if all was realtime ??
i'm having a debate with my friends about this. it seems to me that it consists of some cutscenes mixed with in-game footage , but still cant be sure if all the graphics shown were RT ... the car chasing scene for exmaple looked convincing & not far from being in-game!

Well in terms of Eight days it could be real time as in it was being rendered by the PS3, but it could just not be the gameplay.

Did anyone notice the size change that the PS3 underwent? When I saw the comparison I was pretty surprised. I thought from the looks of everything I saw that it was staying the same

Yeah, When you add proper cooling and an internal powersupply the system gets larger... Just throw in the X360s powerbrick and then do a size comparison. ;)

Watching it now.

So far it's pretty cool.
I'm really looking into buying a next gen console.. but I've been a WASD die-hard fan all my life... it's my crack. :p

But games such as 8 days...:drooling:

awesome video jAk and nrd, i cant wait to see the PS3. and virtua tennis was incredible. when i first saw it, i thought it was a real video clip. the scenery is insane. only thing that gives away that its a video game is the faces.

thanks for the great clip. its great to see things like that cause im 3000 miles away and wish i could be there :thumbsup:

btw, i found your AA/AF comment at the end hilarious jAk. everyone knows theres never enough AA/AF heh ;)
