Wow!!! 6 new clips dated May are mind blowing, Crysis's fire and smoke effects are perfect, it finally start to look realistic than really very crappy smoke textures filled up the screen when you walking through it in every games for the last 10 years especially Half Life 2.

Cry Engine 2 is blowed Source engine away!

Wow! Seeing those vids makes me bummed that I'm still in college right now.

Why? I seem to remember having far more free time in college than I do now...

I thought all the vegetation would move, I guess they couldn't do that for performance reasons :(

Still looks fabulous though :)

Hmmm....seems like only the huge leaf plants moved. Amazing how realistic the environment looks though.

I did notice some framerate drops occasionally, after explosions mostly. I wonder what kind of system it was running on.

When I asked, the guy who was playing it, what the resolution and box specs was. He said he did not know the resolution but the system was a "Basic highly end system". I also noticed ATI stickers on all the monitors running crysis, so I would have to say some type of crossfire setup. He did say it was running in DX9 mode and would run and look much better on DX10 hardware, which is amazing as it already looks awesome.

When I turned around I noticed he was trying to see what the res was set at. He opened the console and was checking the resolution when I noticed the monitor was set at 1024x768.

I have a shot of the monitors with ATI stickers on them, which I will try and upload later.

In person it looked amazing as only the crysis guys was playing. The environment and effects look so much better in person.

wow..most impressive video I've seen from E3 yet. I'd hate to ask what kind of crossfire/sli is needed to play this. Probably won't even run well on mainstream cards until next year :-P
