Hey guys, at E3 now and just saw the UT2007 demo.
Very impressive! No photography or film allowed though :( Basically, it showed a sort of objective gameplay mode... Ran very smooth for the most part, a little stutter here and there. Lighting was good, textures were very good, overall I think it looks quite a bit better than the showing at last years E3... and runs better too.
As for Tim Sweeney. Yes, we got to chat with him! He had some very interesting things to say, and said quite a bold statement toward the end... What is it? Well you will have to till tonight to see!! :)
Its actually quite humerous in how bold the statement was :)
Also, I had two off the camera questions, I asked him about Closed Captioning in UT2K7, and also a release date.
For the Closed Captioning, he explained that its definetely something that they can do, and he takes all suggestions, so I gave him that suggestion.
And for a release date he said late 06/early 07... then later he said... "Well, when its done!" :)
