Asus cards as far as I know ( I have an asus 6800 ) use a non standard plug on their fan so you have to plug it into the motherboardand not the graphics card .The position of the molex socket on my graphics card forced me to bodge a connection as the fan enclosure on the nv5 is too close for a standard molex plug to fit. They probably do something similar to the 6 pin connector on a pci-e card but I have no idea about that??
